  Basic campsite, facilities clearly not adequate for the number of people. Internet through firewall, thus not properly functioning. Unlike pretty much every campsite in NZ, the kitchen has no utensils and cooking equipment. You pay for an uneven grass spot and a flush toilet.
  
  You may also enjoy the owner - possibly the local skinhead who missed a career in the thirties around Matthausen - pleasant like a barking dog and treating you like a sheep on the way to the slaughter house...
  
  Drive on to the free campsites towards Mt Cook if you can, we were not motorized and some gear issues and got stuck to stay there overnight.
